As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, the "The moon rises above the sea; we share this moment though worlds apart" Mid-Autumn Overseas Chinese Banquet was grandly held. Fellow overseas Chinese from home and abroad gathered in Zhuhai for this reunion, to reminisce about hometown bonds and discuss new opportunities for the development of the Greater Bay Area.

The banquet venue was bathed in warm lights and filled with heartfelt warmth. The phrase "The moon rises above the sea; we share this moment though worlds apart" on the red backdrop embodies the overseas Chinese sentiment that stretches across mountains and seas. Old friends and new acquaintances from the overseas Chinese community sat together, raising glasses and chatting cheerfully. Tasting fine dishes, sharing hometown stories, they talked about career growth and exchanged views on cooperation prospects within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The atmosphere was lively and harmonious.

Overseas Chinese build bridges, and friendship serves as the bond. For a long time, numerous overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao have kept their homeland in their hearts. Leveraging their unique advantage of connecting home and overseas, they have dedicated themselves to the development of the Greater Bay Area, boosted economic, trade and cultural exchanges among Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao, and contributed the strength of the overseas Chinese community to local growth.

The full moon shines on Mid-Autumn, and affection connects the world. This Mid-Autumn Overseas Chinese Banquet is not merely a reunion gathering, but also a grand event to unite hearts and minds. Participants agreed to keep moving forward hand in hand. Taking overseas Chinese connections as the bridge, we will unite aspirations, pool wisdom and mobilize strength of the overseas Chinese community. We will further deepen coordination between Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao, promote exchanges and cooperation, and share development opportunities together.

On this blessed Mid-Autumn night with a full moon, we wish all overseas Chinese and fellow compatriots at home and abroad, as well as every colleague, a healthy and happy family, all the best in every endeavour. May the moon be full and lives be fulfilled, and may peace and wellness be with you year after year!
